Art Since 1945

There has been so much art produced since 1945 that it would be impossible to learn or even show all of it.  On this page, I have included a representative sample of several different styles.  There is so much more.  While including some of all styles, good and bad,  I have emphasized those styles and artists who will be remembered in 200 years, more than those whose work is just a passing fad.  A great deal of modern art is nothing but trash.  Many galleries promote worthless, silly art that really is not even art.  Many ignorant and gullible people buy it.  To belong to that crowd, one has to learn to affect eccentric tastes in clothing and speech, saying, "Maahvelous, daahling" often.  I have included the following styles:
